JOB DESCRIPTION
Title - Interactive Developer
JOB PURPOSE
Summarizes the reason why the job exists; and how it contributes to the overall goals of the organization.
Interactive Developer is responsible for developing interactive web based, mobile, and/or desktop applications using Industry best practices to deliver high value and quality solutions for clients.

Key Responsibility Areas Major Activities
Interactive Development Multi-Discipline interaction
IA / Creative
- Provide insight and feedback to Information Architects & Designers for feasibility of designs.
Technology
- Provide context and guidance for integration and implementation of Front End Interfaces
Development
- Translate wireframes, comps, and requirements into functional front-end code conforming to the Interactive coding standards and principles.
- Support Integration of front end code into different back end technologies like java/.net/cms etc
- Perform POC on new technologies
Core Skills
- HTML 5 / CSS 3
- Aware of concepts of Responsive Design
- Object Oriented Javascript
- Comfortable with at least one JS framework
- Search Engine Optimization
- Progressive Enhancement
- Accessibility (A, AA, AAA, Section 508, ADA)
- Comfortable with cross browser compatible development & debugging and backward compatibility
- Define and parse valid data interchange structures (JSON, XML) to integrate with back end services
Standard Project Tools - Re-purpose creative assets using toolsets like
Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
- Use standard toolsets to develop, validate and test code
- Sublime Text
- Dreamweaver
- Debug using Firebug on Firefox / Chrome developer tools
- Performance assessment using Dynatrace
- IE -- Developer toolbar
